Pilot projects for testbeds at RISE institutes

Purpose and goal

The pilot projects was a part of a the implementation of a strategy to facilitate access to the testbeds at the RISE instutes, in order to increase usage by SMEs and Universities. The 10 pilot projects had an active interaction with the development projet and contributed to the development of a joint approach to offer test and demonstration services. The pilotproject implemented the joint offer which resulted in an increased their participation by SMEs and univerities as well as increased interaction between the RISE institutets testbeds.

Results and expected effects

The pilot projects supported the development project by interacting at workshops as well as by participating with individual workpackage in the development project in order to support the common offer for the RISE institutes testbeds. The pilotprojects have carried out their planned activities and the 10 pilotproject have supported 62 SMEs and 21 Uni collaborations within the testbeds linked to the 10 pilotproject and testbeds within the RISE institutes.

Approach and implementation

The pilotproject with 10 different constellations and the integration with the development project has been the pre-requisite for the learning process between the different institutes and created a learnig process and competence exchange on how to use of the ToD. A close cooperation with the development project has also been an important factor for the sucess of the RISE ToD project.
