Important results from the project
The goals was to develop the technology to such extent a pilot project was possible and thereafter execute such pilot project in a real environment. The Pilot should also answer questions regarding functionality and needs. The project has now been executed and the goals has been met.
Expected long term effects
The EpSpot technology has proven itself as easy to install, reliable and fulfilling the anticipated needs. The pilot project has therefore delivered against the high expectations. The project has also concluded that the primary business model of interest from a real estate owners point of view is to be able to resale electricity per kWh as this is deemed as the most fair model and causes least objections from end users, but that flexibility will be required as there are differences in opinions between people. Trademarks has been secured in EU.
Approach and implementation
The technology was developed to the extent a pilot project was possible but it took more time and resources compared to plan. The installation at customer premises was done by a certified electrician and elapsed as expected. During the pilot project with friendly users, the service availability has been 100%. A number of improvements to user experience was done. Customer feedback is that the technology fulfills requirements and expectations.
