Purpose and goal

Another purpose of the broad approach has been to show that co-financing for activities is achievable related to design driven innovation. The aim has also been to highlight the breadth of actors that wants to participate and contribute in the process and develop it together to effect change.

Results and expected effects

In short, the outcome of the People Powered Future summarized: -The systems perspective and open process has worked well to engage and mobilize the many players in the design field. It also shows support for a national process like People Powered Future. Actors who can or will help with the financing of the process are many. PPF has led to a continued focus on design driven innovation, driven by participants in process. The activities i will also serve as a foundation for continued efforts made by the People Powered Future together with Service Innovation Sweden and Leading Innovation.

Approach and implementation

During the past year, PPF has implemented activities together with many of the organizations active within the design field. Because the objective was to mobilize activities and actors, the process itself has enabled a range of new partnerships. The new, or significantly improved, products, goods, or services are not within the scope of the main project, but a consequence of the participants´ activities and processes. The processes that started because of the PPF have led to continued concrete projects at the participating actors.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
