Important results from the project
The project team initially consisted of two Swedish startups, a university and a large foreign company. Several new partners joined and left the project (for various reasons), sometimes at the last minute. Although an application was created, it could not be submitted as last minute changes resulted in too many errors. However, the project helped us identify the industry´s needs. The completed FTO confirms that there is a market for us. Several companies have now seen of our technology.
Expected long term effects
The plan is to improve the existing proposal to submit it to Eurostars in 2025. The network that was created during the project will make a difference and strengthen our capacity to develop our technology, to be able to sell within the industry and to be able to reduce food waste.
Approach and implementation
Many changes occurred during the projet. New partners joined and left the project, leading the team to adjust the application´s scope, aim and objectives often. This created some disappointment, but the team met the challenges and came out stronger. These changes also meant that more time than planned was required to create the application. Several project partners had the opportunity to meet in Lund to plan the work and develop the consortium.
