Onboard SP API Integration for React Native Applications

Purpose and goal

This project seeks to streamline the integration of third-party applications onto onboard commercial vehicle platforms. This initiative is essential for advancing smarter, and efficient transportation solutions. By optimizing the process, it enables independent developers to build, test, and deploy applications utilizing real-time vehicle data.

By establishing a documented process, guidelines, an integration library, and testing tools, the lead time for integration will be reduced. This will result in lower costs and resource utilization, while simultaneously improving digitalization in service delivery, thereby generating significant benefits for society.

Planned approach and implementation

To achieve the project´s objectives, an independent third party will be selected to integrate their service onto the onboard platform. A virtual testing tool will be provided to the third party, along with an integration library to expedite the process. The entire integration journey will be closely monitored and thoroughly documented.
