Purpose and goal

Purpose and aim to improve the situation of the residents of sheltered homes, but also for staff and family members. The time freed up for staff and their families. By creating their own activities for the residents, there arises a win-win situation between residents, staff and relatives. Sheltered in Helsingborg has been identified and the next step is to contact them.

Results and expected effects

People who have an ´inventive talent´ will be invited to compete. Inventors who have ideas, solving problems and having the ability to push their ideas into commercial success. Here, the Swedish Inventors´ Association to become an important partner. Then the winners crowned deepened cooperation between the Association Innovation Journey and winners, to realize product and get it to market. This in conjunction with such Connect Skåne and ALMI Skåne. Meetings have been registered in the beginning of September this year.

Approach and implementation

One Questionnaire has been developed that consists of a number of issues for the residents in sheltered homes. Identify the residents interests. The survey will be the basis for guidance to the contestants. They will receive a written specification of the problems they must solve. A jury will evaluate the proposals and racing designate three winners. Professor Anita Bengtsson Tops, Health Care Kristianstad Univ. has expressed interest to assess what has been produced. Also participating in the evaluation of a suitable sheltered. Partners will have to come from such Care, Univ. of Lund.
