Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to test and evaluate Norsikt in a relevant Nordic test environment at one of Millog’s centers in Finland. The goal is to assess if the solution can support terrain mobility planning, bearing capacity assessment and route selection for heavy vehicles when normal roads are blocked, damaged or not sufficient.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to provide an external evaluation of Norsikt’s value for terrain mobility, bearing capacity assessment and route selection in Nordic conditions. The result will show strengths, limitations and next development steps. In the long term, the solution can support better situational awareness, safer planning and more robust military logistics.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be carried out in Finland during October or November. We will test Norsikt in a relevant Nordic test environment together with Millog. After the test, the results will be analysed. Green Urbansights and Millog will then discuss the outcome, identify lessons learned and agree on next steps for continued development and validation.
