Important results from the project

A system for quality classification of glass can eliminate samples with most flaws and thus lowest strength. This would allow smaller safety margins and less material usage. The combination of Acoustic Agrees non-destructive ultra sound analysis, LTH´s experience of the mechanical strength of glass and Glafos´ possibilities of measuring tension in glass make it possible to develop a system for quality classification of glass.
