Important results from the project
The aim was to develop a new nickel coating process with good properties. We have received the indications of corrosion characteristics that we desired and is pleased to have met the stated objectives.
Expected long term effects
The result is a good candidate for a new coating process. In future projects, this process will be optimized and further evaluated. We expect that this can become a process useful in several different industries.
Approach and implementation
The project included evaluation of customer needs, experimental recipe preparation, surface analysis and corrosion testing. Besides our own evaluations, analysis have been performed by partner such as future customer and supplier.
