Purpose and goal
The planning project aims to strengthen Xzero’s capacity to prepare a competitive EIC Accelerator proposal for its next-generation ultrapure water purification system for semiconductor manufacturing. It will deliver a complete Step 1 and Step 2 application addressing all evaluation criteria, with a clear narrative, positioning Xzero for successful evaluation and interview.
Expected effects and result
The planning project will deliver a high-quality EIC Accelerator proposal (Step 1 & 2), leading to successful evaluation and interview, enabling Xzero to secure up to €2.5 M in grant. If granted, the main project will build fab-qualified demo units for independent validation in the semiconductor industry, proving reliability and accelerating technology development, market entry, and adoption of Xzero’s high-impact EU innovation.
Planned approach and implementation
The planning project will be implemented in a methodical way in three work packages: Short proposal development, including narrative, video pitch and pitch deck. Developing the full proposal’s Part A, Excellence and Impact sections, as well as Annexes (including freedom-to-operate analysis, letters of support from key partners and pitch deck). Development of the full proposal implementation section, budget and financial forecast.
