Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The aim of the project was to give the opportunity to create a consortium of Swedish and international researchers able to propose and edit an application to the EU Horizon call "HORIZON-HLTH-2023-TOOL-05", We succeed in sending the application called "Exploiting Network Medicine and innovative integration of health -related real-world and clinical research data to improve the management of Use-Cases within the galaxy of cardiometabolic disorders" for which Paolo Parini, Karolinska Institutet, acts as coordinator.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We managed to submit proposal as planned and we will be informed later in the year if it will be granted. The work on the project has also generated a smaller project NETMEE STOCKHOLM which will be submitted to "MedTechLabs project funding 2024" where K/KI (I ) and KTH (Sebastiaan Meijer) will be coordinators

Approach and implementation

As soon as we received the grant, we started the selection of core partners, to discuss the structure and the organization of the project proposed in the application. Later we extended the consortium to additional partners and refined the scientific and innovation questions and problems to be addressed. In the end the consortium NETMEE consists of 15 partners, of which four are from Sweden, and two are from the US. In the consortium directly participates one of the biggest European Patients Organization (FH Europe) and five industrial/private enterprise partners.
