Purpose and goal

The aim has been to develop and establish a platform for collaborative innovation development between large organizations and SMEs, and by doing so formulating a concrete and attractive service. Through a actual case with a multinational company the case Stora Enso a facilitated collaboration between a large company and several SMEs and entrepreneurs has been created companies and individuals that probably never would have met nor find means of collaboration without the concrete support of SISP´s unique member network and platform. The project aim is hereby fulfilled.

Results and expected effects

A business model has been developed. It consists of nine parts verified from a market perspective focusing on client demand and enablers. Through the verification it became clear we have a product market fit between the client demand and value proposition a positive project result supported by a first paying user. We have proven the commercial potential of SISP´s member network to help companies increase their innovation capabilities through the use of their unique competence and proven innovation facilitation methods.

Approach and implementation

We have identified the stakeholders´ demand through interviews; by studying a pilot client; in collaboration with demand identifiers and clients we have specified functions, processes and related services; we have tested the technical platform demonstrator; and verified the critical components of our value proposition, revenue stream and key partners on the market through the use of the agile BMC methodology.
