Purpose and goal

The goal is to develop and demonstrate a National Coding Lab to support innovative and advanced digitization in the meat and milk industry.

Expected effects and result

Expected results are that data is used for decisions and services that improve animal health, breeding, food production and profitability and give rise to innovations. We generate more digital solutions and provide increased accessibility for more actors in the industry and develop the animal industry in Sweden towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly business. The effect will be a permanent data lab that contributes to data-driven innovations increasing in scope, making secure and anonymized data available and data-driven AI solutions in the field.

Planned approach and implementation

The project runs for 3 years with 8 work packages: 1 Optimize and develop Kodatalab 2 Simplified administration for the farmer 3 Integration of farm data into the new KodataLabbet 4 Integration with external parties to the new KodataLab 5 Integration with IOT unit on farm 6 Innovation process 7 Dissemination of results and updated business plan 8 Project coordination The project´s partners are Växa Sverige, agricam AB, Agronod AB and Svensk Husdjurstjänst. In addition, DeLaval, GEA, Lely, Arla, SVA, Eurofins and Nedap participate at their own expense. The project is open to new entities.
