Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a stable, quality assured and commercially scalable production process for bioactive fluorapatite (FA). By producing FA in larger quantities at the kilogram level, Nano Dentica AB wants to enable wider applications in precision medicine and pharmaceutical production, with a particular focus on dental care and medical technology products.
Expected effects and result
Through optimized manufacturing and process control, the project is expected to establish a stable and scalable production method for FA, which meets the eligibility requirements set by international regulatory authorities. The project must generate the documentation that confirms that the production process and material meet global quality and safety standards.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is organized in two main phases with associated work packages, which together ensure an efficient and quality-assured scale-up of the bioactive fluorapatite (FA) production process. Through close collaboration with RISE, the project will optimize the manufacturing method and prepare for commercial production.
