Call Strategic innovation program Drive Sweden: Innovations for a sustainable, digitized and automated transport system for people and goods

Purpose and goal

The transport sector is becoming increasingly connected, digitalised and automated. To meet this development, we need to develop and adapt the digital infrastructure, and an important part of this is machine-readable traffic rules. In this project , we intend to show how municipalities can deliver machine-readable traffic rules to the Swedish Transport Agency and the Swedish Transport Administration. The project will demonstrate the necessary technology, expertise and process development.

Expected effects and result

If the project shows that the Swedish Transport Administration can accept deliveries in the new flow and that there is interest from the municipalities, the suppliers of preparation systems can begin adapting their products. The results will be public so that suppliers in addition to Triona and Sokigo can take into account the new requirements and adapt their products.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is divided into three work packages: WP1 Projektledning - coordination of project, partners and reporting WP2 Teknikutveckling - testing by municipalities registering regulations to the Swedish Transport Agency through newly developed systems WP3 Validering - compilation and communication of results
