Important results from the project

RISE has together with ISSP/University of Latvia, Joanneum Research in Austria, and UTT - Université de technologie de Troyes, submitted a proposal to EIC pathfinder open call 2025. Together the partners will explore a novel optic switch device that possesses the merits of high-band width, low power consumption, printable and low cost.

Expected long term effects

First, we will wish for that our proposal can be granted, so we can carry out the vision for a new type of optical switch device. The consortia will continue to search for other fundings as well. We also wish to establish long-term collaborate with our partners and integrate optic devices/systems with printed electronics.

Approach and implementation

RISE has coordinated project work. Partners have met regularly online and with higher frequency towards the end. Time plan could be followed. Factors that have influence work, sometimes it has been difficult to find a common meeting time. We have compensated by sending out meeting minutes to partners. Collaboration has worked out nicely.
