Purpose and goal

To develop a modular radiation resistant detector, with superior performance for imaging as well as quality assurance, in the field of advanced radiation therapy.

Expected results and effects

After successful completion of the development project, commercialization will be initiated on the world market. Market activities will be focused on manufacturers of linear accelerator and specialized companies in dosimetry. Sales to radiation therapy clinics will also be started up through direct sales and via distributors. All members of the team will have important roles in the commercialization phase. The sales activities requires technical competence and application know-how.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will be realized by present and new employees. Consultants will be hired for quality assurance, mechanical design and software development. The Project runs from April 2016 to December 2017. The work comprises market and technical requirements specification, design, implementation, verification and validation.
