Purpose and goal

MinBaS Innovation programme with the budget of at least 50 MSEK financed by VINNOVA and the industry was carried out between 2014 - 2017. The programme was based on MinBaS Innovation Strategic Agenda from 2013. The aim of the "Management and Coordination" project included planning, management, information and monitoring of projects within the programme. In cooperation with VINNOVA the Program Management has prepared and carried out three project calls 2014-2015 based on four Action Areas (1-4). Finally the program evaluation has been carried out in the end of 2017.

Expected results and effects

Finally 14 projects have been selected, financed and carried out including 2 strategic projects and 2 pre-studies. Among these projects - 11 projects have been focussed on the process and production development, development of environmental technology and improvement in Health & Safety.

Planned approach and implementation

The most of the projects have been carried out i close cooperation with the Academy and gave added value to the investement in RTD and Innovations f. ex: - Development of Simulation Capability and Advanced Process Models for Crushed Rock Aggregates and Mining Production. - Development of production technology and Health & Safety within the Natural Stone Industry. - Process development and optimization within the Cement and Lime Industry - Development of concrete proportioning method for crushed concrete aggregate. .
