Important results from the project
The goal was to establish AI as a strategic resource in Örebro, Västmanland, and Sörmland. The project aimed to increase AI awareness, support partners in their AI transformation, and develop infrastructures like the Data Factory. Through knowledge sharing and partnerships, the project exceeded engagement targets and advanced AI maturity among partners, fostering sustainable AI-driven innovation in the regions.
Expected long term effects
The project resulted in increased AI maturity and significant engagement among partners. Targets for events, participants and AI implementation have been exceeded, however, the target for AIMAT measurements has been challenging, which follows national developments. Partners experienced increased understanding of AI and several new collaborative projects were initiated regionally and nationally. The regional ORU Data Factory was developed and enabled knowledge sharing nationally.
Approach and implementation
The project was structured into work packages focused on knowledge sharing, partner engagement, and strategic initiatives. “AI mognadstrappan” was used to tailor support for partners. Adjustments were made to align with AI Sweden´s reorganizations, but regional activities were executed as planned. Data Factory and Kraftsamlingen have shown particularly good results, while some tools required more time for implementation.
