Purpose and goal
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Based on the EU´s work with micro-credentials and Europass, and in collaboration with Europass and sovereign identity work, the parties intend to create a pilot. The aim is to develop a structure and system that can be practically tested where all forms of education and learning outcomes assessed through industry validation can receive digital “evidence” from issuers, in line with the model used in the EU. The pilot must both contain a system model for what such a structure can look like, and a technical solution that supports it, as well as be tested.
Expected results and effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** A pilot for digital documentation of quality-assured competence development, in areas validated within the framework of the model. The pilot gives the individual the opportunity to map and understand their skills development and can take ownership of their skills documentation, regardless of education form. Employers get a clearer picture of employees´ skills, and at the planning level, skills can be better planned. A successful pilot makes many competence initiatives are visible, which today cannot be traced at a structural level.
Planned approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** A mobilization phase is followed by three work packages on collaboration, model systems and technical solutions. Collaboration is important with national actors, with training providers and authorities, but also with the EU´s various initiatives in the field. The model system produces a proposal in the pilot on regulations for when an issuer has the opportunity to issue micro-merits and how the merits are designed. The technical solution is based on the EU´s common system linked to skills via Europass and the work with blockchains in the EU.
