Venture MT4H strategic project call

Purpose and goal

The project has aimed to create an infrastructure for project/company support and support the development of selected companies that have received funding from MT4H´s calls. This has largely been achieved. The goal has been to facilitate the beneficiaries´ decisions on important strategic issues and for those companies that have participated, this has been achieved.

Expected results and effects

The 10 coachings and expert panels conducted with different companies that previously have received funding from MT4H´s calls (AnyMo, Mevia, Medical Minds, MedVasc, Meloq, Pilloxa, Predicare, Opatus, Ten Medical Design och Emboless). These companies have been very satisfied and seen great value from the support (see appendix from coaches / companies as reported).

Planned approach and implementation

The project has been carried out with Connect, based on their "Språngbräda" model. How the collaboration worked with different Connect organizations has varied. Gothenburg, Stockholm, Uppsala and Umeå have worked, but not Malmö and Linköping (Connect missing). In Linköping, instead, an activity was carried out together with RiSE. The basic structure has been to provide support in three phases; 1) preparatory coaching prior to meeting with a competence panel, 2) meeting with a competence panel and 3) follow-up coaching and support in contacts with innovation actors and financiers.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
