Important results from the project
The goal achieved was to lay the foundation for a strong, connected node/demonstrator for multi-circular, resilient & sustainable manufacturing that drives the development of new business models and strengthens the competitiveness of the industry in line with the EU´s climate & sustainability goals, with direct benefits for participating actors and society, an engine for innovation, and reindustrialization through a system demonstration, Digital Product Passport DPP and circular value chains.
Expected long term effects
Systemic collaboration – individual companies cannot solve the climate & circularity challenge alone. Curation of ecosystems and collaboration. DPP as driving force – not just a legal requirement but an enabler for multi-circular and sustainable value chains. Support and adapted models for SMEs – otherwise a central part of the industry ecosystem risks falling away. Strengthened connection between policy, strategy and practice – decisions hand in hand with concrete tests and implementation.
Approach and implementation
MCRS has been based on ecosystems, life cycle, interconnection and cross-connection, SME and using upcoming regulations, directives and legislation as leverage. Through testing, dialogue, screening of partners´ needs and different works and using cross-connections through our ecosystem, we have built a structure that involves support in a model of Plattform-Playground-Prototypering where we can lay the foundation for a pragmatic and rapid own next step in Implementering-Acceleration.
