Call Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Purpose and goal

Luxbright AB is a deep-tech SME that has developed advanced X-ray technology. When combined with autonomous robotics, this technology can autonomously detect and remove landmines, improvised explosive devices, and unexploded ammunition in conflict areas. We seek EDF support to design, test, and integrate new technical components to transform this concept into a fully functional system. The goal of the planning project is to strengthen Luxbright ´s position in applying for the EDF funding.

Expected effects and result

The project will result in Luxbright being fully prepared to submit a competitive application to the EDF 2025 call. Expected results include a comprehensive project plan, timeline, and budget; a refined partner and subcontractor map; a validated technical concept with feasibility assessments for key components; legal and regulatory analysis; a socioeconomic impact study; and a preliminary business strategy. All these elements will become parts of a strong EDF application.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will be organized into 4 work packages: WP1 Detailed project structure and planning Start: 16/06/2025 End: 15/07/2025 WP2 Technical validation and expert input Start: 16/06/2025 End: 31/08/2025 WP3 Impact, business, and communication strategy Start: 01/08/2025 End: 15/09/2025 WP4 EDF final application preparation Start: 01/09/2025 End: 16/10/2025 The work will be carried out by the Luxbright team in collaboration with future consortium partners, supported by grant consultancy Exeq.
