Important results from the project
The purpose of this project - 1) To release the huge potential of a positive change in the live music business found in the collaborative engagement between skilled booking agents, music lovers, artists, concert organisers and new technology. 2) To optimise revenue streams and minimise risks within live music 3) To connect online enthusiasm with offline experiences 4) To strengthen the relationship between concert goers and concert organisers. The project group has with great result delivered and reached set goals and made the results available through emues.com.
Expected long term effects
The project group has delivered according to plan and made the results available through emues.com. A couple of external parties have engaged through workshops and dialogue to continue the development to create a unique and open plattform to benefit a more diversified, democratic and financially secure business for artists, concert goers and organisers. With a continuously growing community and with applications in the field of mobile technologies, data science, culture and research, this project has contributed to initiate a couple of new collaborative projects.
Approach and implementation
The project was divided into 3 phases and the execution consisted of iterative and agile processes, where a solid input from the users had a direct impact in the work and development. The project group worked continuously together through weekly meetings, workshops, focus groups and hackathon. The set up with distinct phases, recurring workshops and focus groups together with ambassadors active at the needs owner, system provider and researchers as well as the strong link between concept development, idea generation and product development contributed to great results.
