Important results from the project
Through coaching, SMEs have received support to apply for project within LIGHTer Småföretags calls or have been helped to find other public funds. A total of 82 project have been realized since the start in 2017. 86 unique SMEs have participated in project and have thereby been able to increase their expertise. Participating in project has also meant that SMEs were able to develop a product or process, as well as create new collaborations that led to other types of project or follow-on projects.
Expected long term effects
Approach and implementation
On average, one call per six months was carried out. Working methods, program text and application template was formed and developed within the program. The applications were assessed by a relevant assessment group. RISE administered the work and supported the applicants in the application process. Between and before the deadline of calls, SMEs were coached, mainly SMEs that were not used to applying for public funds, or to guide more established SMEs to find other types of funding.
