Important results from the project
The project aims at developing knowledge between dr. Concina and personnel at LTU, with the aim of identifying common objectives to be collected in the Marie Curie VINNMER Incoming call.
Expected long term effects
The scope of the project was completely fulfilled. Dr. Concina visited LTU last January. She met several colleagues, gave an invited seminar and exchanged ideas and views of her potential future activities at LTU. She also worked with me for preparing a joint European project that was submitted on Jan 13 to the H2020-MSCA-ITN-2015 call for the set-up of a consortium to hire joint PhD students. After her visit at LTU, the Marie Curie VINNMER Incoming proposal is almost ready to be submitted within the deadline.
Approach and implementation
The project was developed according to the plans. Dr. Concina visited LTU for around three weeks last January. During her visit, she gave a seminar on nanomaterials for energy applications, attended by several LTU colleagues. After that seminar, dr. Concina personally met different LTU professors and discussed the available resources at LTU, in view of developing her research in the next couple of years.
