Important results from the project
The project will show technical and economical advantages with PM-gears compared to conventional machined gears. Meeting with swedish automotive industy will be held to identify suitable applications for PM gears. Guidelines for design of PM-gears will be developed. A gear/gearbox will be redesigned for PM and the production process will be validated to identify the costs for PM gear manufacturing.
