Important results from the project
In this initiative, we have gathered 15 project leaders from challenge driven innovation projects. We have followed their everyday reality, the challenges they experience, and how they try to cope with them. By doing so, a unique type of knowledge has been generated about what leadership is about during the course of a very complex development effort. This knowledge has been useful for the project leaders themselves, and can potentially play a vital role för forthcoming the challenge driven innovation projects, and the challenge driven innovation program in general.
Expected long term effects
Through the leadership program, we have given effective support to the project leaders. In parallel to the leadership program, we have gathered knowledge and made experience available about what leadership is about during the course of a UDI project.
Approach and implementation
In this initiative, UDI project leaders in phase 2 and 3 were gathered to four workshop consisting of 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 days. In addition, individual interviews were made before and during the program. The first workshop was held on December 14-15 (2015) and the other three between February and June 2016.
