Important results from the project
Yes, we have designed, developed and tested the operational scheduling functionality. All main functionality and the AI algorithm are complete and working.
Expected long term effects
The result is expected to contribute to an integrated scheduling process, where AI can be used to optimize and automate.
Approach and implementation
The project was divided into 4 work packages: Preparation, Prototype Development, Implementation and Verification where we iterated on core and peripheral functionality very closely with our partners.
During the project, we learned more about the interaction between the new and existing algorithms and the infrastructure required to deliver everything efficiently. The resulting improvements in infrastructure delayed the project slightly, but it had no significant impact on the result.
