Important results from the project
The project has succeeded in verifying a new concept for the management of blood samples in biobanks, but at the same time has discovered some challenges with the integration for the intended industrial process technology.
Expected long term effects
The project has discovered challenges around the use of the intended industrial process technology and can realize that there is a greater process development need than expected to create this new niche for industrial process technology, although the product concept at the prototype level has been very successful.
Approach and implementation
The project organization and implementation were slightly adjusted during the project. Above all, it was decided to extend the project time in order to harmonize it with the execution of Innovativa Startups Step 1, which proved valuable. The initial literature study by RISE was valuable for providing knowledge and ideas from other work on process changes and application of the technology. Much of the practical work was then done internally when it was discovered that it was faster and more efficient than utilizing external partners.
