Reference number
Coordinator Greentime AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 100 000
Project duration August 2021 - December 2021
Status Completed

Important results from the project

We have achieved aim and objective with the project. The goal was that after the end of the project, Greentime would have an increased understanding of how intellectual property rights can be used to achieve the company´s business goals. The purpose was to develop a strategy for managing Greentime´s intangible assets, both registrable and non-registrable, which may, for example, contain strategic priorities regarding different types of registrable intellectual property rights, ska achieve their business goals.

Expected long term effects

A clear strategy would help us make the right decisions about trademark protection when we run a sustainability certification for events. A clear IP strategy would also make us more confident about what eligibility requirements we can set regarding the use of logos and concepts and what we are entitled to. It would be a security in the future we meet with more actors who notice the need for sustainability issues and we do not want to be copied or someone take our concept. The outcome has been such that we now know exactly what steps we should take to secure the future of the company

Approach and implementation

We enlisted the help of a company that helped us through the entire process. We started with an analysis of the current situation of our company and the intangible assets we have. Then a strategic analysis and a plan was drawn up for which paths we can go. We had reconciliations at regular intervals where we at Greentime came up with input and Groth concretized which paths we could go. It was a very good collaboration where we worked together to create as stable a foundation as possible.
