IP strategy for Aquilto AB

Purpose and goal

The goal with the project was to to develop an IP strategy and action plan for Aquilto AB. Both these goals are fulfilled and the strategy including an action plan are documented in a report prepared by AWA.

Expected results and effects

The developed IP strategy will support the development of the company and its business plan. The identified activities will strengthen the company´s position and increase the chances to interest investors for the company and thus secure finance for the planned expansion of the company. Competitiveness is also judged to be strengthened by the advice AWA has recommended on how intellectual property rights are to be protected.

Planned approach and implementation

A workshop was organized in the beginning of the project with participants from AWA and Aquilto, where these activities were covered: - Review of business plan. - Assessment of available and future intellectual properties. - Review of partners and customers. - Capture directions for search activities to be carried out in the project. After the workshop, AWA continued on their own with support over email and phone by Aquilto, which resulted in a report which was presented in a seminar organized by AWA.
