Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to identify all intangible assets that exist within the company and thus a basis for appropriate measures. The report has identified these assets and proposed measures. Some have already been handled and others we are planning for. The project has given the company a significantly better overview to secure intangible assets and thereby secure and increase the company´s value in the long term. It has also been clarified a strategy how different possible scenarios can be handled when infringement of intellectual property rights is noted.

Expected long term effects

The compiled report is structured as a manual that can serve as a future checklist with the aim of continuously keeping the area of intellectual property right up to date. This increases our ability to both secure and refine the company´s intangible assets in an efficient manner. The report is a key factor in keeping this process current over time.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out by having a law firm hired given access to material about the company. Thereafter, a physical meeting was held on site, where the company´s entire board and development manager participated. This meant that all aspects of the company´s operations could be illuminated and clarified for the law firm that assisted us in the project. Thereafter, we were in continuous contact with the remaining parts, which also included external analysis, competitor and model analysis.
