Project duration September 2016 - February 2017
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project that was expressed through the goals that we set were fulfilled through the development of the product that will shortly be introduced on the market.

Expected results and effects

The results of the project became an cloud based product that will simplify the development of construction phase plans that can be used and updated continuously during the whole project development phase and that guarantees a good planning and knowledge transfer between design and execution. We now expect the market to embrace the product based on the needs expressed from the parties with which we have iterated the development with. We anticipate that the product will create both economic and social benefits for all parties involved in the construction development process.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was performed in a series of workshops where we gathered stakeholders in reference groups that focused on a status analysis about the challenges and pitfalls that exist today. From this we developed suggestions in an iterative process that were continuously validated with the participants from the groups. We then briefed the suggested solution and discussed its fulfillment towards the goals and future needs. After the last workshop the development has continued based in the input we got and the launch is now planned till the end of april 2017.
