Important results from the project
The goalt was to review existing intangible assets of the company and to identify important aspects for future strategies to strengthen the company´s value through its intangible assets. The specific goals included inventories of intangible assets, new areas, collaborations, corporate secrets, education, and others. All set objectives wer met in the project.
Expected long term effects
The main result is a report summarizeing the project and which indicates future strategies for managing the company´s IP. This will be used in the future when designing additional IP within the company, and is expected to provide improved IP protection, maximising the company´s value and this at reduced costs compared to the models the company worked on before the project was implemented.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out in collaboration with IP consultants and consisted of interviews, seminars, searches in public databases and writing texts. The end result was that the company´s staff was trained and obtained improved insights how the company will use IP, as well as a final report that the company will use for optimising its IP strategies for the future.
