Purpose and goal
The overall aim of Instrument Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) is to increase the competence and competitiveness of SMEs by packaging and disseminating results from Production2030´s projects to SMEs. The project focuses on dissemination mainly through Technical Workshops (TWS), competence development of the IUC employees and project management of the SME instrument. The goal within the project is to carry out TWS or equivalent further developed concepts, to 500 companies across the country and with an average of approximately 2 participants per company.
Expected effects and result
TWS are expected to result in an increased innovative capacity of participating companies, partly through access to project results, partly through access to researchers from academia and research institutes. In addition, SMEs that have similar development needs meet. The researchers from the R&D-projects also gain an extended network of contacts to the Swedish manufacturing industry and feedback from the companies. This can provide input for future research applications and new collaborations. In addition, the competence of the IUC network´s employees is strengthened.
Planned approach and implementation
TWS is a concept where researchers from Production2030 projects and companies meet. The content is a combination konwledge transfer from the project, dialogue and group discussions. TWS are organized in collaboration with IUC companies across the country. The setup and implementation is coordinated and facilitated by RISE together with IUC Sverige. New TWS will be developed and offered throughout Production2030´s duration. Instrument SME will also work to take the concepts and forms of cooperation further within the long-term collaboration between RISE and IUC Sverige.
