Purpose and goal

This project aims to create a digitalized and user-friendly workflow by integrating and adapting market survey and decision analysis methods. Key benefits are scalable and cost-effective solution to enable early, pro-active citizen participation for empowerment in public decision processes, transparency around all stakeholder groups inputs and the provision of tools for making rational and sustainable decisions in complex environments.

Expected results and effects

An integration and adaptation of existing market survey and decision analytical tools as well as methods to: 1) Access informants in an attractive and scalable way 2) Collect and aggregate insights together with underlying values and beliefs from stakeholders, interest groups, and experts. 3) Evaluate actions or plans focussing on how different stakeholders are affected and how the actions provide value. 4) Allow stakeholders to fully transparently view the entire process from survey to aggregated results and decisions.

Planned approach and implementation

The project aims to adapt an existing and extensively used market survey methodology called the “Association Wheel” from Allies AB integrated with a Multi-Stakeholder-Multi-Criteria analysis library developed by Preference AB for research intense decision analysis projects. The baseline is that a rational public decision-making ecosystem can be created by integrating a commercially proven scalable survey methodology with an academically proven decision analytic library for multi-stakeholder-multi-criteria analysis.
