Purpose and goal
The project was an important part of Anolytechs overall assessment of the strategic components of the business where quality, quantity, design, delivery, billing, uniqueness and materials were the watchwords for the study of all the possible aspects. The goal was to ensure a reliable and high quality product and the proper skills to enable an introduction to new market segments within the industry and an export drive.
Expected results and effects
The project was successful and has made it possible to introduce a new business model, whereby customers purchase the service ´Anolytech AgroRent´. For a fixed monthly fee, customers get ´bacteria free water´ during the rental period. Thanks to this the number of installations doubled in 2015 and now there are about 200 among farms in the cow, pig and poultry in Sweden. During the project, the company has grown from six to 12 full-time employees and will double its turnover during in 2016.
Planned approach and implementation
The project started with the basic evaluation of the design and components were subjected to accelerated testing in the laboratory and application environments. In addition to the technical specifications and quality the evaluation also included other aspects such as price, availability, reliability of the supplier etc. Parallel to this, new components were developed and evaluated, among other ways, produced by additive manufacturing.
