Purpose and goal

Research and development project of a new braking system for rides that is safe, reliable and can withstand outdoor weather. We have developed an innovative system that is a fixed installation, and gives the rider a progressive and safe brake. The set targets for the project are fullfilled.

Expected results and effects

The leisure industry is a growing business globally, there are many rides in various parts of the world, the majority without a safe braking system. The product we have developed can withstand outdoor weather, is innovative and applies a safe progressive braking for the rider. Our expectations is that our brake system will be sold on a growing global market.

Planned approach and implementation

We have followed the set project plan: -optimise the various components in the system, -engineering of the components, -identify suppliers and manufacture the first prototype, -function test of the prototype, -analyze the test results, make applicable adjustments, change drawings, -manufacture a second prototype, -document the product and prepare the patent.
