Purpose and goal

After several years of research, Adsorbi has developed and patented an innovative material for air purification. The material is a cellulose-based adsorbent that can capture pollutants with 10 times higher capacity than the industry standard activated carbon. The goal of the project is to carry out activities for the company and the innovation to reach product-market-fit mot luftfiltermarknaden.

Expected effects and result

Expected results in the project are based on the obstacles and risks that exist today to reach product-market-fit and commercialize the innovation. The results will be: completed required material development, verification with customer in the field, and update of business model. By achieving these results, the company moves closer to commercialization and can secure the capital required for commercialization.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is divided into stages governed by milestones. Stage 1 of the project is focused on material development and has been divided into five activities. In stage 1, RISE is involved as consultants to support the selection & characterization of cellulose & nanocellulose. In stage 2, the project will continue and involve customers in a greater escalation. Then the focus will be on validating techniques in the field, which in turn provides data for the business model.
