Important results from the project

The project aimed at disseminating results from previous Vinnova- project around inter-organizational collaboration (cf. the concept of organizational spaces). The targets are met with a margin. More people than planned have participated in various events. In fact more than thousand. A number of different organizations (education companies, consultants, private companies, authorities and other public organizations) have arranged workshops as ways to participate. A number of organizations have also translated the results into practical business development (eg IVO).

Expected long term effects

The work has been about presenting models and tools, in the form of work strategies, to build inter-organizational coordination across organizational boundaries. Professional and cultural boundaries can also be bridged by the methods as well. The intended effects were that managers and employees adopt ideas, concepts and approaches and thus apply them in their everyday work. This will lead to more efficient operations and fewer coordination mistakes. In the organizations where many or all participated in the activities the effects are greatest and includes business development.

Approach and implementation

The work was organized around lectures, workshops and projects. Lectures were arranged by educational and / or consulting companies. They were aimed for the companies´ customers and partners. In other cases, lectures and workshops were arranged as internal activities and could involve both managers and employees. In some cases, in addition to lectures and workshops, it regarded developing parts of or most of the business. Among these we find municipalities and authorities. In that way, analyzes could be made of local obstacles and advice given about ways to eliminate och bypass them.
