Important results from the project

Yes, the goals were met. VTI and Nira were project partners and carried out activities as planned. Contact with Elonroad arose during the State Visit to Singapore, this led to new opportunities and a continued dialogue (which continues after the project is completed), with several parties including Elonroad and Nanyang Technological University - NTU Singapore. It is hoped that these new contacts will lead to more trials and increased research work between Singapore and Sweden.

Expected long term effects

Long-term research collaboration - especially through activities under signed MoUs. Business opportunities for NIRA Affärsmöjligheter for Elonroad

Approach and implementation

The project went according to plan Visit to Singapore. State visit including participation as a presenter at a seminar and in a panel debate. Workshop on possible collaborations and areas of interest (both with Swedish and Singaporean partners). Bussiness Sweden helped set up meetings and mediate contact. Feasibility study for Nira Matchmaking - Partners in the project were Nira and VTI. Several meetings with other parties (TRV, Elonroad, Singapore LTA, Singapore NTU, Bussines Sweden, Scania)
