Purpose and goal
The purpose of the seminar Innovation in the media industry was to gather media managers involved in innovation projects to share knowledge, discuss innovation and to get inspired in order to further innovate. The goals were more than fulfilled by the seminar much due to the very high level of speakers like Lucy Küng from Reuters Institute.
Expected results and effects
The seminar was the first of its kind and the organizer Medieledarna will arrange similar seminars. The feedback from the participants are very positive and several participants pointed to the fact that very important contacts were made during the seminar and the following open floor speed dating.
Planned approach and implementation
The seminar was a very positive spin off of other innovation project supported by Vinnova. Without the network from these collaborations it would have not been possible to get the level of speakers nor attracting all the high level media managers that participated.
