Important results from the project
Aims and objectives of the feasibility study have included both to identify suitable partners for the competition and to optimize the utilization, to identify the appropriate methodology for the implementation of the competition. to ensure that the need is relevant and to contest the question formulated in an understandable, solvable and attractive manner. What remains is another job with question wording, then we need owner surveys have concluded that we need to define the question more clearly.
Expected long term effects
In the preliminary study, connected partners to us, to pave the way for achieving our results. Together with CTF at KaU we have identified a method on Open Innovation, which we want to test. On one hand the implementation of the competition, and on the other to produce radical solutions, and then the County Council itself in an open innovation process to develop a solution around existing needs. Innovation Park can then use the method in future competitions.
Approach and implementation
A common theme is to embed the utilization of the solution. We want to include and test a scientifically based method on Open Innovation, which means that the ideas are processed in two stages during the implementation of the competition, which would increase the possibility that ideas come closer to utilization. Partly by involving the users and partly by utilizing the competence of the jury in the development process of the ideas. We will use the jury to assume responsibility for the process after the contest, and connect test environments and procurement to us for the follow up process.
