Purpose and goal

Together with a group of global companies/ organizations, this project has developed knowledge about leadership´s role, conditions and significance for the development of innovation, growth and responsible organizations. Through qualified exchange of experiences and knowledge generation through example, the goals formulated with the partner companies at the start of the project has been achieved with acclamation. The working methods have enabled continuous knowledge dissemination, which in turn, has created curiosity, debate and interest.

Expected results and effects

Through a series of round table discussions and in-depth cases, knowledge has been developed about current sustainability challenges as well as various solutions for handling these. Each case illustrates concrete challenges that a partner company has addressed, as well as the tools, models and processes developed to make responsible leadership a driving force for renewal, innovation and growth. All in all, the cases illustrate the importance of the context for understanding which issues turns out to be particularly urgent to deal with through responsible leadership.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is based on knowledge development through collaboration where experience sharing through round table seminars and documentation of "best practice" constituted key building blocks. During a period of two years, six roundtable seminars have been conducted in cooperation with Telia Company, Stora Enso, EQT, Vinnova and another X companies in Silicon Valley. Knowledge dissemination has taken place continuously. The process perspective has dominated in order to capture real-time challenges, practices and solutions.
