Important results from the project
The goal and purpose, a fully working implementation of an expanded national definition of the dataset ´meal and menus´ as open data with Dcap-ap and iCalendar with a Swedish supplier has been met thru the implementation at the supplier Mashie.
Expected long term effects
The projects goals with a national definition has been met: Created Published on Github Marketed to suppliers of systems for planning meals and other municipalities Dcat-ap created Valuable information needed in the national coordination of municipal open data has been created. Knowledge of open data has been spread to the public sector.
Approach and implementation
The project was done with an agile approach i close collaboration between the supplier Mashie, Dopter AB and the municipality. Together we solved problems that arose. One thing learned is the importance och involving the information owners in the municipality at an early stage. It has been a great strength having the supplier closely tied to the project.
