Purpose and goal

The aim is to create a digital pedagogical model for lifelong learning where theory, practice and organizational problem solving are in focus. The model has been developed and tested on a large number of courses in collaboration between three higher education institutions. This has meant that it has also been possible to staff courses with a relatively narrow focus. It is clear that the participants are satisfied, or even very satisfied, with the teaching.

Expected results and effects

All courses have been developed within the framework of the areas where BÄ experienced organizational challenges. Expectations were therefore high for a significant demand for all course modules. This was also the case for courses based on more general areas but not for courses in narrow areas. The pedagogical model that has been developed has created a good insight into how course modules could be designed to attract and activate course participants.

Planned approach and implementation

Initially, all BÄs met to identify organizational challenges and match them to relevant areas. The result was 14 course modules in five areas. Demand for general courses (eg business development) was high, while interest in narrower courses (eg business valuation) was limited. The pedagogical model has been developed and tested via various course designs, content, learning activities, examination methods, number of participants and study pace. We have had a strong support function regarding education and technology.
