Purpose and goal
The goal of the pre-study is to create a national and international network, which can develop the industrial building (robot/digital/hybrid) in Sweden. The area of innovation deals with materials, construction and design of industrial building processes.
Expected results and effects
The project will continue its efforts as a part of the newly granted project "DP 1" within the program BioInnovation and Construction area. The efforts consists of a fact finding mission on digitalisation in the chain from Forest to Industrial building using hybrid materials.
Planned approach and implementation
A core group (panel with representatives from various sectors) investigated the R&D-challenges in production processes/technologies, ´living lab´, as well as the industrial parts, joint technologies and industrial building (robotics, 4th ind. rev. etc). A final workshop was held to achieve an industrial commitment and anchoring together with relevance assurance of the program area and also to investigate the needs for R&D within the program area.
