Important results from the project

The purpose of the preparatory project was to lay the foundation for a proposal for the Eurostars program in 2024, partly by establishing and strengthening the cooperation between the parties involved in the main project, partly by jointly carrying out a feasibility study in Germany to evaluate the practical feasibility of the main project. In addition, preparatory work to develop and expand the existing cloud services provided by Stardots has begun.

Expected long term effects

A report summarizing the findings and results made in the feasibility study has been jointly written by the project partners. To facilitate the use of the applications provided by Stardots, these have been translated into German. Several consortium meetings, both on-site in Germany and online via Teams, have been arranged to plan the main project and to strengthen the cooperation between the project parties.

Approach and implementation

Delays from the very start have propagated throughout the entire preparatory project, which in turn has led to a back-heavy cost allocation, where resource use has been concentrated to spring 2024. The constellation of the consortium took a partial hit when the German clinical participant resigned from the intended Eurostars-project. Thanks to a joint effort, the consortium succeeded in finding a replacement partner. The preparatory work that was done was valuable both in terms of finding a new suitable clinical partner, but also as a support for proposal for the Eurostars program.
