Purpose and goal

The project´s aim has been to develop and run the learning development and experience and knowledge sharing platform of the National Incubator Program, launched in 2016. It has included responsibility for the implementation of peer reviews, “ERFA” meetings, national conferences and the Inkrapp reporting system. The objective has been to develop concepts and methodologies for operating the above tools, methods and forums and to ensure the incubators´ participation as well as the joint journey towards excellent incubator management. The project´s objectives are met.

Expected results and effects

The project has led to the intended effects and contributed to the overall aim; to ensure a Swedish internationally competitive incubator program characterized by national collaboration and joint access to relevant expertise. Through the project, the incubators´ processes have been developed and collaboration has increased. Awareness of the incubators´ contribution has increased regionally and nationally. Sustainable methods, processes and a clear common aim to be able to continue this positive development towards a world class innovation support system have been developed.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has been run systematically and milestones based. With a clear structure for decisions and follow-up through the steering group. The project has endeavored a broad legitimacy from both Vinnova and the incubators; peer learning, experience sharing, and operational working groups with representatives from all concerned have been the main working methods. The implementation approach has created drive and “goal focus” but has also contributed to a collaborative culture based on trust, pride in one´s own ability, willingness to develop and contribute has been established.
